Notch Classic Flexfit MultiCam Operator

Really loving this cover. Given this is a flexfit cover, I wasn't sure what size to order but looked the sizing chart over carefully. I have a large cranium and wear a size 7 3/8 to 7 1/2 hat size. I ordered the L-XXL size, and it fits perfectly. The notch position was perfect for Oakley SI Holbrook glasses. The construction and material used are outstanding. Highly pleased.

Colors and Fit --
I now have two of these Flexfit Multicam operators, one in woodland colors and one in multicam black. I collect military inspired caps, and these ops from Notch are some of my favorites. Not only are they low-profile, but they keep their shape because of the structured front panels. Both caps are sturdy, well-made, and I like the comfortable closed back of the Flexfit. If you wear your caps backwards, you’ll notice that the sweatband being more comfortable on your forehead than the plastic on a snapBack. My Woodland Multicam cap has received more compliments than any other cap I’ve worn.

Hook and Loop Ready --
These operator-style caps feature two hook and loop regions , one 1 7/8” x 3” on the front and a 1” x 1” square on the top center of the cap instead of a button. This flat area not only holds a patch but also feels more comfortable if you’re wearing headphones or shooter’s earmuffs over the hat’s crown.

Notch vs Notchless --
What about the notches? The idea is to find a way to that the hat’s brim not to press down on your glasses. Myself, I go notchless, because I couldn’t find a solution that fit with my glasses. But many other customers report being quite satisfied! And for me, these two notchless hats are among my best. As for the notches, Notch Gear offers two different designs, which feature the cutouts at two offset-distances from the cap’s crown. Plus, the company will work with you to create a custom notch setting. I appreciate the customer service there, but for myself, I have begun to look for lower-profile eyewear instead.

Conclusion --
Even though my Notch-gear hats are notchless, I still feel that these are the most comfortable and best looking operator-style caps I’ve seen. I plan to order more colorways and keep up as Notch Gear offers new designs.

Love the hat! Just recently got glasses n hated that I couldn't wear a hat down where I wanted to without hitting my glasses! Well not anymore!

I have been buying my lids from notch for some time now and will continue to do so as I plan on being buried with one on my head. The comfort alone speaks for itself let alone being able to pull the bill down lower than any other hat because of the notch cuts allowing my sun glasses to not be in the way is awesome!! I go back and forth from the flexfit multi-cam operator to the flexfit multicam black operator hats as they are my favorite of any hat I have ever owned my entire life. My business stays with Notch Hats from here on out!!!!! Thanks guys for the quality and comfort of your hats!!!
